The BFF Jacket is a minimalist 2.5-layer hardshell built from Surpass 2.5L Hardshell, a recycled and recyclable stretch polyester that is wind- and waterproof, breathable, and lightweight. A precise, articulated cut delivers unrestricted movement across a wide range of activities, from summer hiking and kayaking to ski touring. Fully seam-sealed construction with a PFAS-free membrane and water-repellent treatment keeps weather out, while zippered armpit vents and an adjustable hood and hem allow fine-tuned comfort in changing conditions. When the jacket has reached the end of its life, it can be returned to Houdini for material recycling.
