Climashield Apex insulation delivers reliable thermal efficiency and retains loft even after repeated compressions, ensuring performance through repeated packing and deployment. Composite body mapping enhances functionality by placing dual layers of insulation in the torso for superior core warmth, while single layers in the hood, lower arms, and underarms reduce bulk and improve mobility, allowing for free arm movement during technical tasks.

 

The 15-denier nylon shell is treated with an additional coating developed to enhance water resistance, achieving a 1000mm hydrostatic head rating. This advanced treatment sheds snow and light moisture effectively, ensuring the jacket performs in stormy, high-altitude conditions. Designed to layer over alpine gear, the Prism Belay Jacket is an essential piece for climbers needing dependable insulation in extreme environments.

SHIPPING TIMES

We strive to complete and ship orders as quickly as possible. Domestic orders will be shipped out within 2 business days and international orders will ship out within 3 business days. We do not ship on weekends or U.S. holidays.

DELIVERY TIMES

We do our best to ensure the timely delivery of all orders. When selecting our UPS or standard international shipping options, please keep in mind that we are only provided with an estimated delivery date from our carriers.

TRACKING YOUR ORDER

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email which will include your tracking number. If you have questions about the whereabouts of your package after it has shipped, please contact the shipping carrier directly as we do not have access to packages once they leave our warehouse. A signature is required upon delivery of all of our shipments. If no one is home to sign for the package, the carrier will leave a notice to schedule redelivery or pickup. Inselberg is not responsible for packages lost or stolen during transit.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.


Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items

If your return doesn't align with our policy, we'll contact you regarding return-to-sender shipping. Although Inselberg isn't responsible for these fees, we'll help identify cost-effective options for you via our logistics partners.

Failure to arrange return-to-sender shipping within 30 days results in your merchandise being deemed abandoned. Leading up to this, we'll contact you multiple times about your item's status. Abandoned items are disposed of at our discretion.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
